In recent years, the development of the automobile industry has been growing by leaps and bounds. Subsequently the significantly increase in demand for important parts of automobile production and manufacturing capacity. Horizontal machining center, industrial machine tool, as an important part in the equipment manufacturing industry is undertaking the important task. And since the whole stiffness of horizontal machining center can produce great influence to the machining accuracy. At the same time bolted joint structure as the weak link of the complete structure, its stiffness has great influence on the machining precision of horizontal machining center. Traditional design, analysis and check of bolted joint often adopt basic mechanical system of mechanics of materials, and check the accords only consider if the connection strength and fatigue meet the requirements, and ignore the influence of stiffness. For it is taken the stiffness of joint of bolted into consideration in the initial design stage. At the same time optimize the traditional design scheme of the integration of a bolted joint. The research of bolted joint stiffness of horizontal machining center is very necessary. To achieve the purpose of the above, this article are mainly studied by the following aspects:(1) Introduces a layered elastic system mechanics, through the Matlab software to programming to calculate the mechanical constraints of away from in bolted joint surface normal stress field, then the normal stiffness of bolted joint surface is obtained. (2) Introduces a method of calculation the normal stiffness of bolt connection joint surface and on this basis puts forward a the mathematical mode to calculate the tangential stiffness of a bolted.(3) Studies the primary and secondary order of factors affecting of a bolted tangential stiffness through the rational test, the qualitative conclusions are drawn. (4) Through the finite element analysis software Ansys Workbench, respectively, to calculate the static stiffness of the horizontal machining center lathe bed—column bolted joint in the design of different structure, different preloaded size and different preloaded order. Optimize the design from the above three aspects, to meet the requirements of the subject.
