In the process of the oil production,the accidents caused by eccentric wear and rods fracture have seriously affected the oil recovery efficiency and economic benefits.In order to meet the requirement of the normal stress which is caused by sucker rod and pump tubing eccentric wear,the mechanical structure,hardware and software of the normal stress detector are researched and designed in this paper.The normal stress detector has well engineering significance on the prevention and treatment of oil field eccentric wear.(1)The working environment and technical indicators of normal stress detector are firstly determined,and then the overall research structure and development processes of the normal stress detector are confirmed.(2)The mechanical structure of normal stress detector is designed.The mechanical structure is the core architecture of the entire detector.It must work at the environment of high temperature,high pressure and tensile strength underground,and also provide installation space for the circuitry and power supply unit.As the core component of the mechanical structure,the stress detection unit must detect the normal stress accurately during the eccentric wear.Therefore,the precision requirements are strict.(3)The hardware circuit is designed according to the measuring functional requirements.ADuC845 microcontroller is the core processor.The hardware includes the signal acquisition and processing circuit module,memory circuit module,serial communication module and power supply circuit module,etc.The designed hardware can collect and store weak signal normally in the high temperature environment underground.(4)The software components of normal stress detector are designed.The software includes lower computer program and PC data processing program.The functions such as collecting,storing and transmiting of the signals are realized in the lower computer program;and functions such as receiving,converting,storing data,and MCU parameter modifying are realized in PC.(5)The accuracy and performance of this detector are tested.The underground normal stress and temperature environment are simulated in the laboratory.The sampled datas are converted to the corresponding value of normal stress based on the mathematical model,which is built through a large number of experiment datas.The results of the experiments such as temperature,stretching,sealing and simulating wells and the application tests show that the detector works normally.In a summary,the design and development of the normal stress detector include the mechanical design,hardware development and software development.The results of simulated wells experiments and field well experiments show that the normal stress detector meets the actual measurement requirements.
