At present, sample test is the only way to test the performance of rig brake blocks.Sample test detect the brake blocks in the condition with constant speed and constant pressure,so,sample test has the poor simulation.Bench test detect the actual brake pair with comprehensive performance evaluation. However,as the drilling rig brake pair is too large to carry through bench test.As a result, the bench test of drilling rig brake blocks is not be universal. This thesis is focusing on how to carry out the drilling rig brake block bench test. This paper summarized the research status of sample test and bench test, compared the sample test and bench test systematically, analyzed the significance of drilling rig brake blocks bench test.It has research on the two major theoretical basis-friction wear principle and similarity. This paper determined the constant scale coefficient of bench test parameters and the simulation.According the bench test parameters and the simulation, this paper have the scale coefficient calculation of the 40 drilling rig with disc brake and 130-2 drilling rig with belt brake.Based on similarity theory, this paper designed scale brake block of bench test and compared the overlap coefficient between scale brake block and brake block. The paper determined friction radius by calculating the location of mass center. This paper designed scale brake disc and introduced the rig scale bench, designed the arrangement of scale bench. The tail shelf of scale bench is the device to transmit the scale brake block to disc.Brake tail shelf selected DC servo motor as drive system. This paper determined the type of servo motor and the hardware of brake tail rack position control system. Finally, the article introduced scale bench control scheme.
