Spiral bevel gears are widely used in mechanical products because of their smooth transmission,high strength and strong bearing capacity.At present,with the development of sewing equipment,electric tools and mechanical instruments,the demand of transmission quality for these products is higher,so the small-modulus spiral bevel gears are widely used.However,the domestic small module spiral bevel gear production technology is backward,the product precision is low,the service life is short,has seriously affected the overall performance of the machine.Therefore,it is urgent to improve the machining efficiency and precision of the small module spiral bevel gear based on the control of production cost.Therefore,this paper puts forward a new processing scheme: the small gear tooth surface is produced by the conventional double side method,and the big wheel is pressed by powder metallurgy.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1 In this paper,the key points and difficulties of powder metallurgy forming of small module spiral bevel gears are discussed.Based on the analysis of the forming process of powder metallurgy and the geometrical characteristics of the small module spiral bevel gear,the importance of the die and compact density in the process of the small module spiral bevel gear is put forward.2 Based on the local synthesis method and TCA technology,the processing parameters of the single wheel and double wheel method are designed.First of all,through the given ferry tooth surface machining parameters,then the tooth surface machining coordinates,the selected reference point,and calculate the tooth surface curvature of the main point and the main direction,get machining parameters of wheel by a series of matrix transformation,and the processing parameters were verified by TCA analysis,the gears meshing with good performance in theory.3 Accurate modeling of the small module spiral bevel gear pair and die.By programming,tooth surface data generation UG recognition,tooth surface fitting model into UG software to generate a single slot,and then through pruning,array order of small modulus spiral bevel gears to get accurate three-dimensional models.The motion of gear pair is simulated by motion simulation,and the contact area of meshing motion is observed,and the effect of TCA analysis is verified.Three dimensional model of powder metallurgy pressing die was obtained by the obtainedlarge wheel model.4 The compaction process of powder metallurgy was simulated by Deform 3D software.Based on the numerical simulation model of small module spiral bevel gear powder metallurgy forming engineering,the performance of the gear is analyzed.The stripping process is simulated,and the process is smooth.5 The effects of different pressing process and compact structure on the performance of powder metallurgy small module spiral bevel gears were studied.The results show that the higher the pressing speed is,the smaller the friction coefficient is,the more uniform the density distribution of the blank is.The bigger the blank height is,the larger the tooth root angle is.6 The powder metallurgy experiment was carried out.Taking the specific small module spiral bevel gear as an example,the powder metallurgy forming test of the big wheel and the milling test of the mating pinion were carried out.The possibility of machining small module spiral bevel gears by powder metallurgy method is verified.The wheel is processed by double side method,and the big wheel is made of powder metallurgy,which can realize the precision and high efficiency production of the small module spiral bevel gear.This article from how to create superior performance of the powder metallurgy of small modulus spiral bevel gear angle,with iron based powder compacting this important process as the research object,through the finite element analysis software to realize the numerical simulation of powder compaction,detailed discusses several main factors affecting the forming properties of iron-based powder,laid the theoretical basis for powder metallurgy processing,small modulus spiral bevel gear provides technical support.
