Scraper conveyor is the main equipment of comprehensive mechanized coal mining face.At present,the finite element method is used in the design and research of the middle pan of scraper conveyor mainly,the bulk material in the middle pan of the scraper conveyor is regarded as a continuous whole,or is directly acted on the middle pan in the form of an external force,the finite element analysis method is used to establish the relevant mechanical equations,and through the three-dimensional modeling software and finite element analysis software simulation,so as to get the conclusion.In the past,most of the research on the middle pan wear is in the structure design,surface treatment,material selection and so on.But the bulk material is a kind of particulate matter,in the bulk material,between the bulk and the geometry there is a mechanical function can not be ignored,therefore,the application of discrete element method can be more accurate research inside the bulk and bulk and geometry between the mechanical role,to obtain more reasonable results.In this paper,UG and EDEM were used to establish the coal powder transport simulation model to analyze the distribution and movement behavior of coal bulk,and the establishment of discrete bulk wear analysis model for coal bulk transport to study the wear of coal bulk in the middle pan,the results show that the middle pan of the scraper conveyor is located in the local serious accumulation conditions,the accumulation of coal particles in the normal transport coal particles on both sides,and with the scraper conveyor running forward,the accumulation of coal particles will be scattered in the middle pan on both sides of the groove,the average wear depth of the middle pan in the local bulk deposits is significantly higher than that in the local mild stacking conditions.When the middle tank bottom slopes to one side,the coal bulk in the middle tank is stacked on the inclined side,if the angle of inclination is large and the amount of coal material to be transported is large,coal bulk will be scattered from the inclined side of the tank,thereby reducing the transport efficiency of the scraper conveyor.The coal particles and rock particles are randomly distributed in the middle pan,the hardness of rock particles is larger than that of coal particles,and the edges are sharp and sharp,so the more coal particles in the amount of rock particles,the middle pan wear more serious.and the coal particles of the hardness and particle size increases,the quality of coal particles will increase,when the coal particles are dropped onto the scraper conveyor,the effect of particles on the impact of the middle pan and the acceleration of the collision is more obvious,thereby increasing the depth of wear of the middle pan.The middle pan of scraper conveyor laying tilt angle of-10° and scraper chain speed is greater,Mass flow rate of scraper conveyor is large,but at this time the middle pan wear is also more serious.EDEM is coupled with ANSYS WORKBENCH to obtain the stress and deformation characteristics caused by the friction and impact of the coal bulk in the middle pan during transport,furthermore,the wear parts of the middle pan are analyzed carefully,the maximum deformation and the maximum stress value of the middle pan near the coal site are the largest,with the gradual drop from the place where the coal fell,the depth of wear is also decreasing;From the wear cloud diagram and the stress-strain cloud,we can see that the main wear part of the middle pan is near the link,of the wear of other parts is relatively small.According to the research contents and the feasibility of the text,the scheme was established,the text scheme is divided into the following five parts:test purposes,test equipment,test materials,test conditions,test methods.
