Tailings pond are used to store the metal and nonmetal mines ore selected don't back out of the tailings.Tailings pond drainage system is one of the important safety facilities to assure the safety of tailings pond.According to the statistics of our country a big province of tailings pond,because of tailings pond drainage system problems and over 60% of the total number of accidents caused by accident,tailings pond drainage system is very important for the safe operation of tailings pond.For the research of tailings pond,foreign scholars generally focused on by collecting a large number of the observed data of tailings pond,through data analysis and research the safety management of tailings dam stability,tailings dam dam,tailings problem such as the impact on the surrounding environment.And domestic scholars usually focus on the use of numerical simulation technology of tailings dam seepage and stability of the dam body and tailings dam effect are studied.For tailings pond drainage system discharge capacity,domestic scholars generally adopts the hydraulic model test method to study the hydraulic characteristics of tailings pond drainage system.Usually the hydraulic model test is designed according to the gravity similarity criterion can display engineering of all kinds of complex ternary water flow movement rule,according to the test results,design units to having the system design scheme optimization and improvement.Experimental study of tailings pond drainage system adopts gaussian model,in the related theory and experimental operation has accumulated some experience?In this paper,based on the actual project need,of a proposed tailings pond drainage system for hydraulic model test,experiments verify having discharge capacity of the system.The main work is divided into the following several parts:(1)Design and manufacture of the model.On the basis of the similarity theory of hydraulic model test.(2)Hydraulic model test.Trial record tailings pond drainage system of discharge flow,discharge velocity data,the flow regime and observe having structures.(3)According tailings pond drainage system model,the discharge capacity of tailings pond drainage system theoretical calculation.(4)According to the results of test and theoretical calculation,the rationality of the discharge capacity of tailings pond drainage system evaluation.According to tailings pond drainage system scheme design of hydraulic model,hydraulic model tests designed according to the gravity similarity criterion,by using the gaussian model.Considering the roughness model making material will have great influence on discharge capacity,so we must choose reasonable model scale.Use appropriate methods and equipment for flow measurement for tailings pond drainage system,and looking at the flow regime of having structures.According to the laws of the measurement data summary,chart curve drawing,and according to the original layout problems found during the test,the reference of the existing research results at home and abroad,puts forward modification plan,optimization.Choose reasonable theoretical formula,and discharge capacity of tailings pond drainage system calculation,and compare the test results and the theoretical calculation results.
