In recent years,with the development of brazing tool preparation technology,the manufacture of fine-grained brazing diamond wheels and its use in semi-precision,precision grinding of engineering ceramics and other hard and brittle materials have received extensive attention.At present,there are two problems with the preparation of large diameter fine-grained brazing diamond: the uneven distribution of the thickness of the solder layer and the uniformity of the abrasive grains on the grinding wheel surface.In view of the above problems,this paper designed a set of equipment to produce diamond wheel.At the same time,the grinding performance of the large diameter fine-grained brazing diamond wheel was studied by high-speed grinding of Al-Si alloy 4032 and Cemented Carbide YG8.Around the above research ideas,the work of this article was summarized:(1)The coating mechanism consists of a matrix rotating mechanism,a coating mechanism and a scraping mechanism.The LabVIEW program was used to achieve effective and accurate control of the mechanism.During the coating process of the grinding wheel,the real-time compensation motion control of the scraping piece was carried out according to the wheel beating,and the final pulse of the grinding wheel is20?m.The abrasive grains were evenly scattered on the surface of the grinding wheel by means of the vibration method and the rotational motion of the grinding wheel.The distribution uniformity of the abrasive grains on the surface of the grinding wheel was evaluated by Tyson polygon method,and obtain the optimum dusting process parameters.(2)Grinding experiment results show that the grinding depth has the greatest influence on the grinding force for both materials,and the wheel speed has a greater impact on the grinding force when grinding Al-Si alloy 4032.Due to the removal of the Al-Si alloy 4032 is mainly based on plastic.The grinding force ratio of Al-Si alloy4032 is 2.6,and the Cemented Carbide YG8 is 4.7.(3)The material is mainly based on plastic removal when grinding two kinds ofmaterials,the surface of the workpiece is obviously plowed.The precipitated particles(Mg2Si)on the Al-Si alloy 4032 phase are present in the form of excavation,cutting,crushing,and integrity.The surface of the workpiece is adhered by holes,smooth areas,scratches and abrasive.The surface roughness of the workpiece is 0.1 ?m to 0.7?m when grinding the Al-Si alloy 4032.The surface roughness of the workpiece is0.1 ?m to 0.9 ?m when grinding the Cemented Carbide YG8.(4)It is found that the diamond of grinding wheel surface is mainly in the form of complete,broken,polished,broken and shedding by detecting the surface morphology of the wheel.A greater proportion of abrasive when grinding the Al-Si alloy 4032,the abrasive grains are mainly crushed and polished when grinding the Cemented Carbide YG8.(5)It can be seen from the experimental results that the prepared large diameter fine-grained brazing diamond wheels have good grinding performance for Al-Si alloy4032 and Cemented Carbide YG8.
