The process of industrial production will produce flammable,toxic and harmful gases,which can cause the explosion and poisoning,endangering the personal safety of staff and the surrounding people seriously.How to effectively and accurately monitor the security situation of working environment has become a key problem.With the current environmental monitoring needs continuously improving,it is significant to study and design a kind of versatile environmental testing equipment.Based on the actual demands,the paper proposes a multi-gas concentration detection system which integrates motion detection,wireless data transmission and remote monitoring.The system consists of three parts: portable terminal detector,wireless transmission system and host computer system.Firstly,the paper takes the industrial environment safety monitoring as the object,refers to a large amount of literature and analyzes the characteristics and harm of gases in coal mine and other industrial environment on the active detection equipment with defects such as outdated technology.And the paper researches deeply on the schemes of previous scholars,puts forward some improvements and proposes the requirements,performance,parameter indexes and realization scheme of the being designed system.At the same time,an appropriate detection method by comparing the mature gas sensing technologies is selected.And then,the system is developed of child modules taking the design concepts of high performance and low power consumption into account.In the hardware part,a circuit which takes STM32F103 as a main control chip with functions such as conditioning,display,storage and alarm is devised and the sensor arrays with the principal of infrared absorption and electrochemistry is used to detect various parameters?CH4,CO2,CO,O2,C2H2,C2H4,temperature and humidity?in the environment.Simultaneously,Zigbee wireless transmission technology is adopted in the environment monitoring in order to solve the problem of the system not being wired transmission and the circuits of each node of wireless transmission system are designed.In the software part,acquisition,display,keypad and other program designs of terminal equipment are accomplished by system programming.Meanwhile,curve fitting is carried out to improve the accuracy of the system measurement,a wireless transmission software system to complete the communication between the devices and nodes is designed,and a host computer system based on Labview platform for the convenience of managers monitoring the environment is devised.Last but not least,the whole system is debugged online and the performances such as display,storage,sound-light alarm,wireless transmission of the system and dynamic monitoring of the host computer system are verified by experiments.The results show that the system functions normally,obtains environmental information effectively,and all indicators meet the design requirements.Besides,the remote monitoring capability makes the system have practical value.
