Underground belt conveyor is an important piece of equipment in coal production,which plays a significant role in transporting coal from the mining face to the wellhead.Owing to its long working hours,heavy load,etc.,mechanical faults such as belt deviation occur frequently,thus severely threatening the production safety of coal mines.Traditional daily inspection works of underground belt conveyor rely on manpower,which is low in efficiency.The belt deviation detection unduly relies on mechanical deviation sensor,and the detection effect is not good enough.Targeting to the aforementioned problems,this thesis designs a set of automatic inspection device schemes for underground belt conveyor,it works automatically in underground belt conveyor tunnels.The mobile inspection mechanism equipped with a variety of sensors is able to measure the daily working parameters such as gas concentration.Using machine vision system,the device can judge the belt deviation fault,thus overcoming the shortage of traditional detection methods.This thesis analyzes the causes and types of belt deviation fault in detail,and designs the system constitution,the implementation plan,the mechanical structure and the inspect track of automatic inspection device.This thesis completes the hardware design of the mobile inspection mechanism control system,including the selection,the basic hardware circuit design of SCM part and the selection of machine vision part.This thesis analyzes the characteristics of belt deviation fault image,and explains basic principles of the belt deviation detection method based on the machine vision in detail.This thesis gives the pre-processing algorithm of belt deviation detection.On this basis,this thesis designs the Deviating Belt Area Detection Algorithm based on Morphological Processing and the ROI Pixel's Gray Level Detection Algorithm based on Edge Detection of Deviating Belt.Using the above-mentioned methods,author completes the design of the comprehensive belt deviation detection method based on machine vision,and verifies the effectiveness of this comprehensive method.At last,this thesis develops a set of on-line monitoring management software on PC using Emgu CV and Win Form.
