In order to improve the performance of acid dyes on nylon fabric,around the problem of poor color fastness and whiteness as well as the heavy washing task,based on the idea of micro-printing of acid dyes,the following researches are carried out.1)Inspecting fixation methods of acid dye on nylon,the effect of printing mediums(thickener,binder and cross-linking agent)on printing performance and pretreatment on the whiteness of nylon printing fabric is discussed.2)Investigating the effect on printing performance of nylon fabric pretreated by using additives(organic acids,nonionic additives,cosolvents,fluorine containing resins and deepening finishing agents).3)Studying the impacts of the compound finishing agent(FC-6,CTF-1)on the printing performance of nylon and the printing properties of seven kinds of acid dyes are compared.4)Testing the effect of finishing agent(polyether,antioxidant,fixing agent)on the printing performance of nylon fabric.Using the evaluating methods of color characteristic value(L * a * b *),K / S ratio(RF value),whiteness,rubbing fastness,color fastness to soap and color fastness to chlorine water,which characterized the influence of the color depth,color fastness and whiteness on the fabric.The results show as follows.1.Nylon fabric is pre-treated with 1% fixing agent TFC-1 and then printed with the preferred micro-printing process to obtain excellent printing performance,the effect of fixing agent TFC-1 on the fabric whiteness is very small,which can prevent the fabric from being stained and improve the color depth,RF value and color fastness.Adhesive S6 can also effectively improve the RF value and color fastness.The printing paste contain thickener PTF-A 2%,adhesive S6 1%,acid dye x%;steaming process is in temperature 100 ? and humidity 100% about 20 min.2.The method of saturated steaming is better than baking after steaming or baking in high temperature.Synthetic thickener(PTF-A,PTF-D)have significant performance advantages over than traditional pastes(sodium alginate,CMC).3.The addition of adhesive to printing paste can improve the RF value and color fastness,but it depends on the characteristic of adhesives.The performance of adhesive S6 is better than other five adhesives(DH,HF,HP,DT,SD-28).Although cross-linking agents(HD302,UN-557,HD100,H602,Sac-100)can improve color fastness,but have negative effect on fabric feeling.4.Nylon fabric pretreatment by additives,printing performance depends on the additives,fixing agent TFC-1 pretreatment can improve the color fastness,less impact on whiteness and better performance than fixing agents(FIX-3C,MR,TFC).The pretreatment of FC-6 can improve the depth of color,which is better than T-80,(AEO-7,MOA-9,OS-15),cationic M,cosolvent(benzyl alcohol,diethylene glycol monobutyl ether,urea),fluororesin(F2710,F2820,F2630).5.Nylon micro-printing fabric finished by finishing agents(polyether T,antioxidant SD-2,fixing agent MS),which have no negative impact on the fabric whiteness and friction color fastness and color fastness to chlorine.The MS and SD-2 in same bath(the mass ratio of MS to SD-2 is 1.5: 1.5)have excellent color fastness to chlorine(up to grade 4-5,2.5 grade)and resistance to friction degree(? 4 level),the whiteness decreased by only 0.15% and color difference is low,which is better than the antioxidant SD-2 and polyether T,fixing agent MS and polyether T in same finishing bath respectively.It also has better printing performance than other finishing agents(antioxidant AY-1C,fixing agent MR,fixing agent F-1,fixing agent T-C).
