In the base of last-year-graduate's work, the pretreatment system of short Nylon fiber and short fiber-rubber composite are studied further. In our experiment, the composite's comprehensive properties are improved by three methods. Firstly, the interface adhesive performance of the composite, which was reinforced with short fiber pretreated by 40% carbolated styrene-butadiene latex or HST 2073 latex, is enhanced. Compared with the Epoxy resorcinol-formaldehyde resin pretreatment system and Maleic anhydride pretreatment system developed by Xusigui, the 40% carbolated styrene-butadiene latex system can keep the composite's properties and reduce the cost of pretreatment and simplify the pretreatment technology; especially to the HST 2073 latex system, the composite's mechanics properties are improved greatly. Secondly, the composite's comprehensive properties and interface performance are improved by reinforced with short fiber grafted with rubber in the surface. Thirdly, to simplify the production technology of composite, we add TKM-M and RF-90 as adhesive agent to the composite blended in an internal mixer, so as to the composite can be used to industry widely, then the effect of the amount adhesive agent on the composite's properties and interface adhesive performance was studied, from the experiments the optimum amount of adhesive agent was deduced. In the third method, because the short fiber don't need to be pretreated, the composite's producing technology becomes simple, at the same time the cost of product can be reduced, it is beneficial to produced in great scale in industry.Moreover, all kinds of properties of heavy load tire tread which reinforced with 5 pphr the above three kinds of short fiber were compared, these properties include basic mechanic properties, dynamic properties, heat build up, Akron abrasion and so on. The test and analysis indicates that the composite with PA6-g-rubber and PA6 pretreated by HST 2073A latex has optimum process characteristic and comprehensive properties.
