In the investigation and monitoring of rocky desertification,the application of remote sensing technology has become more common.The most serious area of rocky desertification in the karst area of north Guangdong is Yangshan County.This article relies on the project of “Remote Sensing of Natural Resources in the Southern Coastal Region(Guangdong District)” to use Yangshan County of Qingyuan City in northern Guangdong Province as the research area.The remote sensing monitoring method obtained the status of the distribution of rocky desertification in the four periods of1993,2001,2009 and 2016,and verified the accuracy of the classification results.On the basis of this,a prediction based on the Markov model was carried out for the rocky desertification at various levels in Yangshan County.Finally,the genetic mechanism of rocky desertification in Yangshan County was analyzed using GIS methods,including carbonate lithology,slope,Vegetation coverage,Vegetation area change,altitude elevation,and human factors provide theoretical basis for rock desertification treatment in Yangshan County and even in the karst rock area of northern Guangdong.The main results obtained are the following:1.Summarizes the status quo of monitoring and research on rocky desertification at home and abroad,and points out the significance of using object-oriented methods to monitor rocky desertification in Yangshan County.2.According to the developed karst rock desertification grading evaluation index system,combining the actual conditions of Yangshan County,the rock desertification in Yangshan County is divided into three categories: Mild rocky desertification,moderate rocky desertification and severe rocky desert Change.3.The Markov model is used to establish the initial state matrix and transition probability matrix to predict the development trend of rock desertification in different degrees in Yangshan County,and the degree of rock desertification in Yangshan County in 2030 is predicted.The forecast results show that the area of rocky desertification in Yangshan County is decreasing year by year,and the moderate rocky desertification is the largest.With the passage of time,rocky desertification indifferent degrees gradually improves.4.Analyze the genetic mechanism of rocky desertification in Yangshan County using GIS methods from natural factors(carbonate rock lithology,slope,vegetation coverage,elevation);analyze human factors(rapid population growth,economic backwardness;The influence of low population quality,weak awareness of sustainable development)on the mechanism of the formation and development of rocky desertification in Yangshan County provide a theoretical basis for the governance of rocky desertification in Yangshan County.
