Study On Dynamic Change Of Land Rocky Desertification And Comprehensive Treatment Of Social And Economic Benefits In Yangshan County

Rocky desertification is a severe ecological problem faced by subtropical fragile environmental regions in the South China.It has become a research hot spot at home and abroad to discuss it’s variation and it’s impact on the ecological environment and economic and social development.The research object selected in this paper is Yangshan County,which is the largest rock desertification and the highest degree of rocky desertification of 7limestone county(city)of Guangdong province.Yangshan County is one of the typical areas of serious rocky desertification in the South China.It has carried out years of comprehensive management of rocky desertification and achieved certain results.Based on the monitoring data,field surveys and statistical data collection,based on the obtained basic data,a questionnaire survey method was used to study the dynamic changes of rocky desertification,rock desertification control measures and treatment effects in Yangshan County.Research indicates that:(1)The rocky desertification land area in Yangshan County has been constantly reversed,and the rocky desertification land area in the county has gradually decreased;(2)Forest land has the largest proportion of rocky desertification area,and its rocky desertification area shrinks fastest,especially in moderate rocky desertification,and the rock desertification area of cultivated land does not decrease but increases;(3)The rocky desertification measures for vegetation recovery and restoration are mainly based on the management of protection of mountains and forests and the closure offorests(grass)in forest and grass measures.In the land with severe rocky desertification,the main protection is mainly the protection of the mountain;(4)Through the management of rock desertification,certain social and economic benefits have been achieved: the gross national product(GDP)has been steadily increasing;the industrial labor force and the output value structure have been adjusted;the farmers’ lifestyles and living standards have improved;the farmers’ income has increased,and the economic level of farmers has greatly increased.(5)Through the investigation of typical farmer households,a detailed analysis was made on the basic conditions of the households,the living environment,and the awareness of rock desertification,etc.,to provide assistance for the development of rock desertification management.
