Mold Flow Analysis And Parameter Optimization Of Xiaomi Charging Treasure Cover Injection Mold's Gating System

Traditional injection mold design methouds and determination of casting process parameters basically depend on experience of mould design engineer and process engineer.The rationality of mold structure and correctness of casting parameters are verifyed through the process of mould test.This leads to a very low success rate of injection mold manufacture,and often need to repeatedly repair the mold and even redesign.The front cover and back cover of Millet charging treasure are plastic products and possess complex shape.Traditional design methods will cause the waste of time and funds.In this thesis,we have designed the gating system of Xiaomi charging treasure cover injection mold.We designed the system with the consideration :material selection,process analysis,the calculation of volume and quality of plastic parts,the selection of injection machine,the mainstream way design,the distributary channel design,cold slug well design,gate design of gating system and pouring system balance.On the basis of system design,mold flow analysis tools are employed to analyze the gating system of Xiaomi charging treasure cover injection mold.In the analysis of moldflow result,we analyzed the mold filling time,pressure,total temperature and flow front temperature,welding scar,air-pocket,freezing time,injection speed,clamping force and warping deformation.Orthogonal test method is used to optimize the pouring process parameters.Test analysis are conducted on multiple process parameters optimization and single factor influence comparison.Comprehensive tests were performed to analyze the influence of melt temperature,mold temperature,injection time,holding time and holding pressure under the action of five factors,four levels comprehensive plastics injection molding to the warping deformation.Sixteen times mold flow analysis of trials were conducted and it is concluded that the influence of various factors affect the warp deformation degree of order.and we have found the optimal conditions.In the single factors experiments,five factors are analyzed in five levels,have found the effect of five factors separately on effect of buckling deformation,finally we realize the optimization of warping deformation.
