With further development of industry, more and more plastic parts are employed, especially in electron,electric appliance,medical attendance,automobile and instrument field, where high part precision is required. Thus, research of precise injection molding technology is pushed forward constantly. As known, part precision is determined by integration of plastic material,injection machine,process and injection mold. For molding parts, injection mold plays a great role in injection molding. We used to try to raise the accuracy of manufacturing in the design of mold, which is useful in some distances. If we want to achieve high accuracy parts , we must find out the effect factors of mold and analyze them in detail.The effect of mold on part precision was summarized by the numbers. The effect factors included components assembly,gating system,temperature control system,exhaust air system,clamp and guide system, demold system and sustain system. In this way , a solution to the design of precise mold was provided.Meanwhile, the gating system of typical molds was analyzed and following conclusions ware achieved:For the precise plastic rotor mold, we didn't get equilibrium products by setting gate on only one vane, because the filling situation was unconformability, which resulted in the difference of the density in different vanes. By setting gate symmetrically on each vane, ideal products were achieved.For large complicated barrel product mold, if only two gates was setted, either the clamp force would be too large to implement in real productive activity or the temperature at flow front was too low to fill the cavity. When the number is added to four, much better products were achieved.
