In recent years,the pollution of water becomes seriously.The printing and dyeing wastewater occupies most of the water pollution factors,Rhodamine B(RhB)is the most important pollutant in the printing and dyeing wastewater.With the progress and development of science,lots of methods were used to deal with the printing and dyeing wastewater.In this study,we studied that based on a new advanced oxidation technology of sulfate radical to deal with RhB.We used catalyzer to make the Potassium Monopersulfate(PMS)produce free radicals.Potassium Monopersulfate is a kind of efficient green environmental acid oxidation agent and it has high redox potential.Under the making of catalyzer,it can accelerate the generation of free radicals to make RhB decolorization.In this study,we used iron?Fe/AC catalyzer acted on PMS?Fe/AC catalyzer acted on PMS and Sodium Percarbonate(SPC)at the same time and used Fe/AC catalyzer acted on PMS with microwave to make RhB decolorization.The best treatment conditions were obtained through the investigation of the experimental conditions,and the free radical and UV spectrum were analyzed.The results were as follows:(1)At 25?,turn pH to 3,used 0.1g/L iron and 1.3g/L PMS to deal with 100ml 100mg/L RhB,after 30min,the decolorization rate can reach more than 95%.(2)At 35?,the pH value is the initial value of the solution,used 0.9g/L Fe/AC catalyzer and 1.5g/L PMS to deal with 100ml 100mg/L RhB,after 100min,the decolorization rate can reach more than 95%.The reaction conforms to the first order kinetic equation,k=0.4×10-2min-1,R2=0.994(35 ?)?(3)At 25 ?,the pH value is the initial value of the solution,used 0.9g/L Fe/AC catalyzer,0.15mmol/L SPC and 1.0g/L to deal with 100ml 100mg/L RhB,after 2h,decolorization rate of up to 75%,the reaction conforms to the first order kinetic equation,k=1.3×10-2min-1,R2=0.958(25?),when the temperature reach 45?,the decolorization rate can reach more than 90%.We found that PMS and SPC can synergistically promote RhB decolorization by comparative experiment.(4)Madke sure the power of microwave was still 400W,the pH value is the initial value of the solution,0.6g/L Fe/AC catalyzer and 1.0g/L PMS were used to deal with 40ml 100mg/L RhB,after 60s,the decolorization rate can reach more than 95%.The reaction conforms to the first order kinetic equation,k=4.9×10-2min-1,R2=0.978(400W).All above experiments through free radical verification,we could find there were sulfate free radicals and hydroxyl radicals acted together to make RhB decolorization.UV Vis absorption spectrum analysis by RhB,the free radical oxidation reaction destroys the chemical bond and make it to be low molecular compound and mineralized.Through repeated experiments,It was proved that the Fe/AC catalyst has good stability and repeated use performance.
