Features Of The Women’s Clothing Of Luzhi Practical Value And Aesthetic Value

With the development of times,the traditional clothing is gradually fading out.To explore the cultural connotation and the spiritual values of traditional clothing is crucial for its heritage and development.Taking the women’s clothing of Luzhi as the research object,by means of refering to the existing literature,investigating the local culture center and museum,interviewing with local residents,collecting the material object,this paper summarizes the basic festures of the women’s dress of Luzhi and analyzes the combination of practical value and aesthetic value.Based on the regional feature,national environment and production mode,this paper firstly analyzes the design,fabric and colour of the women’s clothing of Luzhi,illustrates the differences between women of different ages and different seasons.Through the exploring of etiquette and custom of dress,the local culture connotation and emotional characteristics is also understood.Meanwhile,decorating techniques such as split joint,edging,button,cording,pleating and embroidery are also studied by way of integrating them into local life.From two aspect,decorating techniques and the design of clothing,this paper summarizes that the women’s clothing of Luzhi is aesthetic and practical,therefor,the heritage and development is significant.
