Cause And Control Of Odor Pollution For Residential District In Dustrial Concentration Area

Now odor pollution is a hot topic of all complaints.Especially in the industrial concentration zone,as Odor is the primary pollutant in the community.Due to China's research of odor pollution starts lately,currently only have one monitoring method and the monitoring instruments and equipment are out of date.How to find out the control measurement of in residential community of industrial concentration zone will be one of the focus point of government for quite a while.This research take Tinglan Home Community of Suzhou Industrial Park as the object.This community located in s industrial concentration are in northeast of the district.Odor pollution happens frequently.By investigation and analysis of front stage,we defined screen area.Then we analyzed the origin of odor pollutant using multiple methods including trawl screening,on-site inspection,questionnaire and complaint reporting analysis,take terrain and weather conditions into consideration.We made a targeted and feasible management plan to find out the root cause of odor pollutant and implement scientific,reasonable and effective treatment to control surrounding enterprise which discharge odor pollutant of this community.We hope this plan could provide experience and countermeasure for community who share the same odor pollution issue.Study result shows that the biggest cause factor of Tinglan District's odor pollutant is industrial pollution resource,among which the manufacturing and painting industry have the biggest impact.According to pollutant test,we find that the main contribution of odor came from halogenated hydrocarbon,ethyl acetate,benzene series,etc.The main causes of odor pollution includes unscientifically control of pollution resource,unstable performance of end treatment and secondary reaction of treatment phase.Odor pollution is more severe at night in compare of daytime and Spring-Autumn in compare with summer and Winter.Meteorological factor contributes for odor diffusion.The recommendation is implement comprehensive treatment and control the main resource while considering total quantity control and circular economy.
