As the alarm of current world energy crisis frequently occasions,energy conservation has become a consensus.As to aluminum electrolytic production,energy savings is mainly through improving the electric current efficiency of the electrolyzer and reducing its average voltage.This article describes that the electric current efficiency of the electrolyze is improved by reducing electrolysis temperature,reasonable electrolyte composition.reasonable pole pitch,lower alumina concentration and low effect coefficient in the practice of production and the average voltage of electrolyzer is reduced through increasing the conductivity of the electrolyte,reducing the anode overvoltage,improving conductor contact points and reducing the anode effect apportion.This article detailedly introduces an experiment scheme called 330KA three stages voltage drop flat cathode aluminum electrolyzer according to the production characteristic of large-scale aluminum electrolyzer and analyses the operation conditions of electrolyze in different stages and the process conditions of the electrolyze.The best process conditions of 330KA three stages voltage drop flat cathode aluminum electrolyzer are obtained.The article also introduces the true production of the electrolyzer in several months when the voltage drops to 3.85 V and by comparing the technical and economic indicators,it is concluded that when the average voltage drops by 246mV,the current efficiency decreases by 2%and the effect coefficient reduces by 0.08 slot a day and DC consumption for a ton aluminum decreases by 515Kwh.
