At present,the sales volume of industrial robots in China has leapt to the first place in the world.The industrial robots can be seen everywhere in the unit manufacturing processes of assembly,handling,welding,packaging,processing and testing.Wrist joints are one of the indispensable parts of industrial robots.Therefore,reverse design and NC programming of such wrist parts with complex curved surfaces can promote the innovation optimization and upgrading of industrial robots in the industry.In this paper,the reverse modeling and NC programming process starting from the study of industrial robot wrist joint parts point cloud data acquisition,point cloud data processing,wrist model reverse,model quality testing and automatic programming NC,Wrist component quality evaluation.The experiment using Ruikang laser scanner to complete the entire industrial robot wrist joint acquisition process,FLEXScan3DV3.1 and Geomagic Wrap software were used to process the multi-view data mosaic of wrist joint point cloud data,noise point removal,smoothing filtering and data reduction to deal with the acquired wrist joint data point cloud.Using the commonly used method of parametric representation of curves and surfaces,the steps and methods of modeling different reconstruction models by forward modeling and fast fitting are adopted.The modeling of wrist joint was completed by using the idea of UG forward modeling and Geomagic Wrap rapid fitting modeling respectively.Two groups of wrist 3D models were generated.Using Geomagic Control X data detection software,the reconstructed two sets of models are compared in 3D,2D comparison and sampling points are compared,Evaluation of the two modeling methods of their own characteristics and applications.The process of wrist processing were analyzed and choreographed,Select the appropriate tool and set reasonable cutting parameters,Combined with its own structural characteristics of wrist parts,using Powermill software for wrist joint parts of the four-axis programming,selection of a variety of rough finishing strategy for the wrist joint programming and processing,the final post-processing to get the NC program,And to create the wrist parts of the actual CNC machining test of the components of the wrist joint quality evaluation,the evaluation results were analyzed and discussed,draw conclusions.Taking the reverse design and NC programming of the industrial robot wrist jointmodel as an example,the article conducts three-dimensional data scanning and point cloud data processing on the wrist joint sample model,and carries out reverse-direction reverse modeling using forward modeling and fast fitting modeling Seeking,respectively,the two sets of reconstruction model testing and evaluation of CNC machining technology and automatic programming programming.The wrist model made by forward modeling meets the requirements of product construction.However,this method has a long design cycle and relatively low efficiency,but the surface quality built in the concave area is better.The wrist constructed by fast fitting method The joint model is designed to meet the requirements of product accuracy,with fast construction speed and relatively high efficiency.However,the local corner of the reconfigurable model has large deviations.The reverse technology and numerical control programming technology applied to the field of industrial product design and intelligent manufacturing,will greatly shorten the product development and manufacturing cycle and promote China's industrial development.
