Researches On High Pressure Homogenizer In The Application Of Grease Production

Using high pressure homogenizer in lubricant grease production can improve the appearance,soap ratio,dropping point,mechanical stability,colloid stability and extend warranty of grease.High pressure homogenization technology has several typical features such as short processing time and continuous operation.This study focus on the application of high pressure homogenizer used in the production of grease.Grease quality inspection method is employed to analyze the influence of homogeneous parameters on grease physical and chemical properties.The study also provides data basis and theoretical guidance for improving grease quality.Grease is manufactured in high temperature and pressure,homogenizer leakage often occurs.It takes a lot of time and energy to maintenance.Through sealing material mechanics model and experiment,we finally found the YX type sealing ring made by rubber and V-shaped sealing ring made by strengthened PTFE,then add V type copper spacer ring in the middle of these two parts,improved the life of sealing material.Through the modification of the plunger seal chamber,we change two stage homogeneous valves to single,make it more suitable for grease production and enhance equipment durability.Homogenizer operated by manual or semi-automatic leads to low production efficiency,inferior quality stability and often mishandle.Based on the grease production process and the structure of the homogeneous system,we choose HOLLiAS MACS DCS type V6.5.2 and BATCH software for plan management of grease production,formula management,batch control.Deploy actuator,sensors,controller and control module,by using the configuration tool,hardware modules and program modules were composed and automatic grease production line based on DCS remote control scheme was reformed.Homogeneous in 100~110 ? and 20 MPa can make the grease appearance bright and uniform,significantly increase the mechanical stability of the grease and colloidal stability as well as reduce the soap ratio.Homogenizer makes grease fiber distribution more uniform to achieve a more stable energy state and skeleton structure.Through the improvement of homogenizer plunger seal material,structure modification and test verification,the plunger seal leakage rate fallen 92%,homogenizer failure rate fallen 71%.By using DCS system remote control the homogenizer automatically,we improve the quality and stability of the grease.
