Design And Development Of 09CrCuSb Sulfuric Acid Resistant Steel

Sulfuric acid dew point corrosion resistant round with its low cost,excellent acid resistance and other characteristics,has been widely used in the economizer,chimney and flue gas desulphurization equipment,and has a good practical effect.The steel by alloying elements Cr,Cu,Sb and other elements in the resistance to acid corrosion based on low carbon steel on the passivation film and through a variety of chemical elements between the steel to form a layer of contact with sulfuric acid concentration,the surface will meet in sulfuric acid temperature and time on the protection and pipeline equipment.This paper introduces the development process of 09 CrCuSb steel.Firstly we set a reasonable chemical composition according to the characteristic of 09 CrCuSb resistant to sulfuric acid steel round bar,and formulate feasible steel-making,steel continuous casting,rolling processes related to the current device.Then we manufacture small batch production test,and with process improvement we can solve the problem in it by experimental analysis.At last we complete the development of 09 CrCuSb round bar by verifying the rationality of process improvement during large batch production.During the development of the 09 CrCuSb round bar.We actively carry out technical reserves,and design process of steel-making and rolling technics,which has affectional inhibited the "Cu" elements' intergranular segregation by key technology for example continuous steel casting by low superheat,low speed,weak specific water flow and so on,and The surface crack of cast slab was eliminated.Round surface folds,scratches,cracks and other quality problems have been solved by optimizing input material design,heating rule,pass design,maintenance of the rolling line etc.We also strictly control the level of non-metallic inclusions,especially for the sulfide inclusions and silicate inclusions;enhance the corrosion resistance of steel.Finally we successfully develop 09 CrCuSb resistant to sulfuric acid steel round bar without the "Ni" element.After a rigorous test of acid resistance,the corrosion rate of 09 CrCuSb is 36.13 g/m2·h.Customer approval our quality of 09 CrCuSb.
