To study the micro hole machining with a diameter less than 50 ?m,MNMT developed a micro EDM drilling machine.To improve the machining performance of the precision machine tool and increase the maximum depth of the micro hole,a ultrasonic assisted EDM drilling system based on the vibration of the workpiece is designed in this thesis.Ultrasonic assisted EDM drilling system includes ultrasonic signal power supply,mechanical vibration platform,working fluid circulation system and digital control system.The research content of this thesis includes the following aspects.1)Hardware structure design and construction.The ultrasonic signal power supply is the input end of the whole ultrasonic assisted electric spark drilling system.The stability and distortion of the output signal have a great influence on the ultrasonic vibration.In this thesis,a ultrasonic signal power supply with a low distortion is designed.2)Design and construction of mechanical structure.Mechanical vibration platform is the response end of the ultrasonic assisted electric spark drilling system.Its design has a direct impact on the quality of micro holes.Based on the finite element analysis,this thesis designs a vibration mode and amplitude stability and meets the requirements of the ultrasonic assisted EDM drilling machinery vibration platform.3)Software architecture design and construction.The design of PC software control should be in accordance with the machining process of ultrasonic assisted EDM drilling process.In this thesis,the PC software control system which can meet the requirements of the machining system is designed.4)Using ultrasonic assisted EDM drilling system developed by MNMT,this thesis carried out the experiment of micro hole machining with a diameter less than 50?m to test the micro hole machining performance.In this thesis,an ultrasonic assisted micro EDM drilling system is designed,which can realize the micro holes with a large aspect ratio of depth to diameter.It has an important significance to improve the machining characteristics of micro EDM drilling technology.
