Since the Industrial Revolution, mankind has been making full use of fossil fuels in production and life, emitting a large amount of harmful greenhouse gases and causing environmental problems such as climate warming. The transformation of the global economic development mode has become imperative.Low-carbon economy is to achieve carbon emission reduction as the goal of economic development,by limiting carbon dioxide emissions, can effectively save energy to achieve sustainable development.Agriculture is a basic and guaranteed industry in the three major industries in China. At present, greenhouse gas emissions due to extensive agricultural production and management have increased substantially. Therefore,it is an inevitable trend to promote low-carbon economy in agriculture and achieve low-carbon agriculture development in the future.Although the level of agricultural development in Yunnan is relatively backward, its unique ecological environment and natural conditions have great potential for developing low-carbon agriculture. This paper takes environmental economics as the research direction, summarizes related literatures at home and abroad, and expounds the concepts and theories involved in low-carbon agriculture. On this basis, according to the principle of entropy, the simultaneous measure of the index system and weight of low-carbon agriculture development in Yunnan Province was confirmed, and the influencing factors of agricultural carbon emissions in Yunnan Province were further decomposed by using the LMDI model to find out the factors influencing low carbon Based on the methods of econometrics analysis and time series analysis,to explore whether there is long-term and stable relationship between various factors and agricultural carbon emissions and the role of Granger causality. Finally, the author summarizes the development of low-carbon Agricultural experience and targeted policy proposals on the development of low-carbon agriculture in Yunnan Province, with a view to providing reference for the effective development of low-carbon agriculture policy in Yunnan. This article mainly formed the following research conclusions:(1)Low-carbon agricultural development in Yunnan Province between 2000 and 2015 has made remarkable achievements, showing a good momentum of continuous growth as a whole. In the process of low-carbon agriculture development in Yunnan Province, the proportions and measurement values of agricultural economic development, agricultural ecological environment,low-carbon energy use and rural social development are different.(2)Using the LMDI model to decompose the factors that affect the agricultural carbon emissions in Yunnan Province, and quantitatively analyze the contribution of each factor. The results show that the increase of agricultural carbon emissions in Yunnan is affected by the level of agricultural economic development and urbanization Increase and drive;Yunnan agricultural carbon emissions inhibition factors include the improvement of agricultural production efficiency, the adjustment and optimization of agricultural industrial structure and the rational allocation of agricultural labor force.(3)Based on the econometric analysis of the factors affecting agricultural carbon emissions in Yunnan, the results show that agricultural production efficiency, agricultural industrial structure and labor force are the one-way Granger causes of agricultural carbon emissions. However, agricultural economic development and urbanization are not related to agriculture There is no Granger causality in carbon emissions.(4)Based on the results of empirical research and the experience of developed countries in developing low-carbon agriculture, combined with the actual situation in Yunnan Province,Yunnan Province proposed the development of low-carbon agriculture policy recommendations.
