Grinding technology plays a very important role in modern manufacturing industry.As new materials continue to appear,which contribute to the improvement of workpiece in life,reliability,precision.In the grinding process,a 'large amount of heat is transferred to the workpiece.With the continuous grinding process,the energy of the workpiece surface is constantly gathering,which cause the local excessive heating,the local excessive heating severely damaged the integrity and usability of the workpiece surface.The error of dimensional precision and shape precision are caused by the accumulated heat rise in the grinding process.the solution is often to provide sufficient grinding fluid to the grinding zone.But the high-speed rotation of the grinding wheel will drive the surrounding air to form a airflow field,which will hinder the grinding fluid into grinding zone,so the study of the airflow field and air-liquid two-phase flow field on the form grinding contact zone,to solve the problem of the effective use of grinding fluid,it is very meaningful.In this paper,it focuses on the effect of grinding fluid jet flow field on grinding quality in the form grinding zone,establishing geometric model and mathematical model,based on the principle of grinding and computational fluid dynamics,using Fluent software to numerical simulation and analysis,analysing the law of airflow field and jet law of air-liquid two-phase flow field in the grinding process,getting the effect of grinding fluid jet field on grinding quality in the form grinding contact zone,finally,it comes true to improve the grinding quality and the life of the grinding wheel.The main contents include the following aspects:(1)Through modeling and simulation,comparative analysis the speed,pressure and backflow etc of the airflow field in the different radius,the minimum clearance and grinding wheel speed,getting the general law of the airflow field in the form grinding contact zone of workpiece and grinding wheel.(2)Based on the study of the airflow field to study on air-liquid two-phase flow field in the form grinding contact zone of workpiece and grinding wheel.Through 3D modeling and simulation,comparative analysis the volume fraction and pressure of air-liquid two-phase flow field in the different jet velocity and jet position,getting the optimum grinding fluid jet velocity and the optimum jet position.(3)By studying on the airflow field and air-liquid two-phase flow field and finding the effect of the law of flow field on grinding quality,finally,it provides the basis to guarantee the grinding quality.
