Xinqiao Mining Co.,Ltd.of Tongling chemical industry group is one of the two national key pyrite enterprises planned by the state 'fifteen'.At present,the annual production capacity of Xinqiao mineral company underground mining is 600 thousand tons,and the annual production capacity of open pit mining is 900 thousand tons.Now it has formed 1 million 500 thousand tons of annual mining and selected ore,with an annual output of 1 million 200 thousand tons of high-grade refined sulfur sand,40 thousand tons of refined copper sand,100 thousand tons of refined fine iron of low sulfur,and a considerable amount of gold and silver produced by the by-product.The beneficiation process adopted by Xinqiao copper pyrite concentrator is from primary grinding to-0.074 mm,accounting for 69~73%.After adjusting pH value to more than 11 by lime,copper concentrate is obtained by preferential flotation of copper,and copper tailings are selected as sulfur concentrates.However,as the open-pit pit draws to an end,the quality of the selected ore has undergone complex changes.The copper grade of the raw ore is only about 0.3% from the initial 3%~4% production,and the sulfur grade is reduced from 35% to 28%.The original technological conditions can not adapt to the change of the properties of raw ore and the requirement of comprehensive utilization of resources.Joining a large amount of lime iron sulfide minerals in the suppression of preferential flotation of copper,and to make the sulfur concentrate to meet the eligibility grade,need to add plenty of H2S04 activation in order to ensure that the grade of sulfur concentrate;sulfur concentrate into the furnace caused by lower sulfur grade sulfur concentrate cinder iron grade is low,unable to obtain high grade iron concentrate.Based on the above reasons,we have carried out two parts of the process production research,one is the low alkali copper sulfur separation process test: two is no sulfuric acid clean sulfur separation process test,for the future industrial production of technical reserves.
