Currently,The numerical simulation technology of casting process has been widely developed,it has become a hot research direction in recent years at home and abroad.In recent years,several commercial casting simulation softwares have been developed in China,But compared with many developed countries,the level of commercial software in China is still lagging behind.In the future,the numerical simulation of Casting Solidification Based on the principle of heat transfer,numerical simulation of temperature field,computer aided design of casting process and material database will be a few important directions of the development of casting simulation software.This article uses the C++ language as the system program development language,Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 as the program development environment,using OpenGL technology to realize data visualization and graphic display,using MySQL to realize Database architecture and management,developed aluminum alloy gating system and feeding system aided design software.The design part of the gating system reads the geometric information through the analysis of the STL modeling file,and realizes the correction of the threedimensional entity files,the analysis of the parting surface and the design of the gating system according to the selected casting method.The design part of the feeding system is based on the preliminary simulation results of CAE software,analyzes the defect position and solidification time in the result,and verifies the shrinkage of the isolated molten pool in the position of the defect,thus completing the design of the casting feeding system.Meanwhile,a riser database is set up for the design of the feeding system,and the maintenance function of the database is further improved.The interface of the software developed in this project is simple and smart,users only need to input relevant conditional parameters when they operate,the system carries out a large amount of data calculations in the background,meanwhile,the inquire of riser,chill and other knowledge base is fast and convenient,which simplifies the casting process design.Moreover,the process design results have a good reference value for the actual casting production.
