With the rapid development of science and technology,The display screen is about to changea lot..There are more and more flexible displays in the market.It will soon be on the display stage and become the main force.On the substrate of the flexible display,304 stainless steel will become the main material with its superior performance.Therefore,surface processing of 304 stainless steel has very high requirements.The chemical mechanical grinding is a good method to achieve the global.In this paper,the basic research of ultra-precision grinding of 304 stainless steel plates is studied.The content of the study is the grinding of 304 stainless steel with free abrasive and consolidation abrasive for 304 stainless steel grinding and grinding mechanism of 304 stainless steel.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Free abrasive grinding is a traditional grinding method.The workpiece is ground by grinding paste in the grinding of free abrasive.First,the composition of the grinding paste was selected by the single factor method.The abrasive particles,oxidants,grinding aids,lubricants and grinding disc materials were studied respectively.The results show that:The grinding effect of white corundum and diamond is better than that of boron carbide.Iron oxide has the best grinding effect in the oxidant.Stearic acid is better in the research agent.The lubricant chooses molybdenum disulfide.In the study of matrix,it is found that the material removal rate is larger by cast iron plate,and it has better roughness after grinding by polyurethane pad.Finally,these substances are optimized.Four factors were selected,and three levels were selected for each factor through orthogonal test method.The test results are as follows: For the material removal rate,the optimal combination is A3B3C3D1 and the optimal combination is A1B1C1D3 for surface roughness.(2)Consolidated abrasive grinding is an efficient and effective grinding method.Diamondconsolidated abrasive grinding disc were used in the process of consolidation abrasive grinding.Trial were selected four factors such as abrasive grain,grinding time,grinding disc speed and grinding pressure and four levels were selected for each factor.The test results are as follows: Abrasive particles have the greatest impact on grinding and then the bigger is the grinding pressure and the speed,however,grinding time has little effect on grinding.To satisfy the larger material removal rate,the optimal formula is A4B2C4D4.The removal rate of the material reached 312.524nm/min by this formula.To satisfy the lower surface roughness,the optimal formula is A1B2C1D1.the surface roughness decreased to 4nm by this formula.(3)The grinding of consolidated abrasive and free abrasive is compared by experiment.The conditions of the two experiments are the same.The test results show that: The surface roughness of the stainless steel sheet after grinding is better than that of free abrasive.The removal rate of material removal is better than that of free abrasives.So consolidation abrasive stainless steel has better efficiency.(4)Finally,the mechanism of stainless steel workpiece in grinding process had analyzed.Firstly,it were established about the structure characteristics and distribution of abrasive grains in the grinding disk.The grinding grain is considered as the ideal state of uniform distribution.The stainless steel plate contacts with the highest grinding grain layer on the base body of the grinding disc.Due to the effect of pressure,the abrasive grain will be degenerative on the base of the grinding disc.The abrasive particles are embedded in the workpiece,which is the shaping contact.In addition,it was also established the model of the stainless steel plate in the chemical mechanical grinding.In the model,it analyzed the motion trajectory of the carrier plate,the motion track of the workpiece and the track of the grinding disc.The motion track of it on the workpiece is calculated through the analysis of the single grinding grain on the grinding disc.
