Amantadine(AMA)and its derivatives are kinds of illicit veterinary drugs which are hard to be detected when their concentrations are low.So developing a fast, simple and highly sensitive method for the determination of AMA is highly in demand. This project is about designing and synthesizing a novel fluorescence indicator molecule aiming at detecting amantadine. The detection principle is based on pharmaceutical analysis chemistry and supramolecular chemistry.Using fluorescence indicator molecules and cucurbit[7]urea complex to form a new fluorescent probes system, competition by AMA for occupying the cavity of cucurbit[7]urea allows the indicator molecule to release from CB[7]-probe complex, causing significant fluorescence quench of the probe system.Through fluorescence spectra test,we can determine the concentration of AMA in different samples. This kind of fluorescence indicator can bind tightly with the cucurbit[7]urea,which is able to eliminate the interference of other components in the sample solution. This new fluorescence probe system which is highly sensitive and efficient, has great significant for the detection of none-fluorescence drugs. This project using fluorescence spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)method, explores the cucurbit[7]urea package model with fluorescence indicator molecules, building highly sensitive fluorescence spectrometric method for nonefluorescence drugs. This paper also introducing the advantages and innovations of this test method in the analysing field.
