In recent years,the global consumption of natural gas resources has increased dramatically.The exploitation of natural gas in a conventional and uneconomic manner has been unable to meet the demand.It has also become more important to formulate a plan for the economic and effective exploitation of natural gas.The exploitation of natural gas in horizontal wells has great advantages over conventional mining.The Sulige Gas Field in the Ordos Basin in China is the largest natural gas field on land in China.Its proven reserves are as high as 5000×104m2,but its low abundance features make it Economic and effective mining becomes a problem.In view of the low-permeability gas reservoirs in Sulige,the paper is fully researching and summarizing the research on the lower bounds of physical wells development and economic evaluation of gas wells at home and abroad,analyzed the static and dynamic data of Sulige,using mathematical methods and the Sulige reservoir.The combination of layer characteristics,determination of economic evaluation models with strong practicability,deduction of lower limits of economic utilisation of physical properties,introduction of new methods for determining lower limits of physical properties,and economic exploitation of low-permeability gas reservoirs.The results show that using the He 8 of the Sulige gas field as an example,the deduced economic evaluation model can deduct the lower limit of the physical property of the horizontal well in the Sulige gas field,and has good economic applicability to the development of the horizontal well in the Sulige gas field.The reform method can also be applied to the determination of lower limits of physical properties under consideration of economic factors in other gas fields,effectively increase the level and effectiveness of gas field development,and has certain reference significance for the economic and effective development of low permeability gas fields.
