This paper introduces recent years'development of producing clean gasoline technology at home and abroad. Based on the distribution characteristics of the sulfur and alkenes content in MIP gasoline and a biger proportion of MIP gasoline in gasoline pool in SINOPEC system, OCT-M technology was improved into be OCT-MD technology for producing clean gasoline by Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Company (ZRCC) and SINOPEC Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals (FRIPP). The research on the operation conditions, such as deodorization,light and heavy ends distillation temperature,reaction pressure,catalyst, thickness of sulfur hydrogen in circulating hydrogen carried out by us may help ZRCC to apply OCT-MD technology in industrial unit. Predeodorization in OCT-MD technology can both reduce sulfur content and RON loss in gasoline. At ZRCC, the suitable temperature for MIP gasoline distillation of light ends and heavy ends is 95℃; the suitable reaction pressure and temperature to produce national standardⅢgasoline by OCT-MD technology is 1.5Mpa-1.8Mpa and 235-245℃respectively; the thickness of sulfur hydrogen in circulating hydrogen in the hydrodesulphurization plant for heavy gasoline fraction should be controlled under 100mg/m3; FGH21/FGH31 catalyst matching with OCT-MD technology can meet the require for producing clean gasoline (sulfur content<150μg/g) and keep the loss of RON within 0.4 and 0.8 unit. Some measures to avoid coking on the assignment plate or the top of protecting catalyst for the polymerizing of diolefin in gasoline at high temperature and further arising in pressure dorp of reactor were presented. In a word, for MIP gasoline, the OCT-MD technology is fully able to produce the national standardⅢclean gasoline with low sulfur content. It can also produce national standardⅣclean gasoline with low sulfur content by further improvements in the operation conditions.
