This paper aims to make downhole information quickly and efficiently spreading in oil and gas drilling process and mainly studies the characteristic of the signal generator generating a continuous pressure wave.Research includes the characteristics of the reciprocating main valves,the theoretical calculations of the valve port shape,the distribution mode of the valve port on the tube wall,the stress analysis of the valve,simulation and experimental design.The reciprocating main valves is composed of valve seat and valve core and the valve port is processed on the tube wall of valve seat.The calculations of the is based on the characteristics of pressure and flow of fluid and the target of generating a continuous sine pressure wave.According to the equation of valve core's movement,the shape of the valve port's curve is solved.The characteristics of continuous pressure wave and the features of the valve core's motion have an effect on valve port shape.Those factors includes the pressure wave amplitude,the way of the spool movement and initial phase and so on.The distribution mode of the valve port is divided into single-row and multi-row.Multi-port valve can reduce the distance of the valve core,shorten the movement time,improve the production rate of the pressure signal finally.In the process of movement,valve core has been affected by the different flow force to ensure the smooth progress of the reciprocating movement.Simulation analyses the velocity and pressure distribution of fluid flowing through the main valve,providing the design basis for the reciprocating main valve.Finally,reciprocating main valve experimental device platform is designed.The device will be used to measure the valve flow coefficient and verify if the computational valve port can produce a continuous pressure wave or not.
