Research On Technology Upgrading On A RSDS Unit To Produce The National Standard ? Gasoline

In order to reduce the pollution of automobile exhaust,a strict standard of vehicle fuel has been established by every country,to achieve cleaner fuel.The main indicators of the quality of vehicle gasoline include sulfur content,octane number,olefin content,benzene content,aromatics content,volatile characteristics,distillation characteristics and the requirements of the harmonic group classification.In order to meet the upgrading quality requirements of gasoline refining enterprise,RSDS(the generation of selective hydrodesulfurization technology)series of technology has been developped.RSDS-I and RSDS-? mainly were used to produce the national standard ? and the national standard IV gasoline.In order to improve the quality of gasoline and meet the national standard V(S?10?g/g),new policies was proposed by our country..By this work,QingDao Refinary was used to upgrade RSDS-? to RSDS-?I based on an investigation of its running conditions.So a huge modification of units and process was made by this work and RIPP's effort.The results of commercial performance test show that the sulfur content of the treated gasoline is less than 10?g/g,which well meets the exhaust requirements of national standard IV,and the loss of RON is very small.Due to the high HDS activity and good selectivity,RSDS-?I technology is effective for gasoline upgrading.It is shown from the data of long term running,the product quality is stable and the unit is running steadily.Then the operation condition of RSDS-?I was also analyzed and key indicators and control parameters were summarized.Problems and modification scheme were also proposed.
