Research On Safety Assessment Of Chemical Enterprise Layout Based On Domino Effect

Chemical enterprises in recent years develop fast with our economy upgrading.The increasing number and kinds of hazardous chemicals in chemical enterprises,the more complicated of chemical equipment,and multiple sets of equipment and its affiliated units concentrated layout lead to the easier to have an influence on the adjacent device causing the accident chain once a set of device has an accident.With the Diversity and complexity of chemical equipment,and the presence of large quantities of flammable,explosive,toxic and harmful substances in chemical production process,its possibility to cause domino accidents greatly increases,generating a serious threat to people's life and property safety.And enterprise distribution is a key factor that affects the risk scale of Domino accidents.Unreasonable layout may not only lead to domino accidents occur frequently and the accident scale expand,but also has a serious threat to the normal use of the chemical device,and may cause great damages to personnel and the environment.The economic loss is serious.This article does the related research work for safety assessment of chemical industry layout from the perspective of the Domino effect.Firstly,the probability equations of Domino effect caused by overpressure are improved based on previous models.This paper gives more detailed classifications on the domino device: floating roof tanks,fixed roof tanks,sphere tanks,tower equipment,supporting structures,reactors,pipelines.The literature data and history data is collected and classified.And then handled with mathematical method using Origin Software.The appropriate probability models are got,making the calculation of the probability of domino accidents more precise caused by over pressure.Secondly,Domino indexes are studied that are characterizations of enterprise layout risk on the base of indexes of Domino intrinsic safety in foreign.The index is made of three parts: the leakage frequency of chemical plant,the probability of Domino accident scene and the index of the Domino accident consequences.And the calculation method of the risk index is given.Finally,the analysis is made on the proposed two kinds of layout schemes using the index proposed,and the comparations are made with the domino hazard index DHI proposed by cozzani.Safer layout scheme is got,proving the superiority of this index proposed by this article.
