Study On Preparation Technology Of High Solid Content Emulsified Rubber Asphalt Waterproof Coating

This research developed the emulsified rubber asphalt waterproof coating that adoped the method which combined the process of modification before emulsification and modification with emulsification at the same time.It is characteristic of high solid content,superior heat resistance like chloroprene rubber,outstanding low temperature flexibility and elasticity like styrene-butadiene-styrene triblock copolymer(SBS).In this paper,the conventional properties of modified asphalt and the microstate,physical and mechanical properties of emulsified rubber asphalt waterproof coating were deeply analyzed and the processing conditions,like SBS modified asphalt,the emulsification conditions of SBS modified asphalt,the mixing amount of chloroprene rubber latex and the mixing amount of stabilizer were systematically optimized.And then the influence of composition,the preparing conditions of modified asphalt and the preparing conditions of emulsified asphalt on properties of emulsified rubber asphalt waterproof coating were determined.On the basis of emulsified asphalt waterproof coating(JC/T 408-2005),the technical requirements of high solid content emulsified rubber asphalt waterproof coating were put forward in this paper.The results show that the optimum preparing technology and formula of modified asphalt are as following: 180? development temperature,4h development time,0.3wt% stabilizer content and the SBS 1301 type of modifier with a content of 3.0wt%.With 160? modified asphalt heating temperature,60? soap liquid heating temperature,a 62:38 oil-water ratio,20wt% content of chloroprene rubber latex,3.5wt% content of emulsifier,2.0wt% content of polyvinyl alcohol and 0.3wt% content of calcium chloride anhydrous,the properties of emulsified rubber asphalt waterproof coating can satisfy the technical requirements of high solid content emulsified rubber asphalt waterproof coating.The modification method has effects on both the properties of modified asphalt and emulsified rubber asphalt waterproof coating.Compared with the properties of SBS physical modified asphalt,the softening point of SBS chemical modified asphalt was improved by 3.0 percent,the 5? ductility of SBS chemical modified asphalt was raised by 35.6 percent,and the rotary viscosity of SBS chemical modified asphalt was augmented by 15.5~18.9 percent.The modification method mainly affects the heat resistance,the low temperature flexibility,and the adhesive strength of emulsified rubber asphalt waterproof coating.
