Development And Application Of High Performance Polymer Modified Asphalt Waterproof Coating

According to statistics,the leakage rate of roofs and underground buildings in major cities in China is as high as 95.33% and 57.51%,respectively.The leakage rate of buildings remains high.Waterproofing material is an important component of building functional materials.Its quality and application effect are directly related to the structural effect and service life of building engineering.Modified asphalt waterproof coating with high solid content and its composite system have been used in China for more than ten years.The coating was introduced into China at the beginning of the 21 st century,and has been widely recognized by the industry.The product is composed of high quality petroleum asphalt,rubber modifier and additive.It has the characteristics of self-healing,no maintenance and compatibility with asphalt coil,and is widely used.However,the physical and mechanical properties and adaptability of the products are still far from those of the same kind abroad: low heat resistance,easy to flow in the facade construction,cannot be used for roofing,construction temperature is high.Therefore,it is urgent to develop high performance modified asphalt waterproof coating.In this paper,a high performance polymer modified asphalt waterproof coating was prepared by using innovative raw materials and scientific formulation design.The problems such as low heat resistance,high viscosity,poor adhesion and ageing resistance of the material were solved.The heat resistance of the coating was 90 ?without sliding,flowing and dropping,and the viscosity at 135 ? was less than or equal to 2000 mPa·s,which was high.In the current market products.Since its commissioning,it has been applied in the Great Hall of the People,Tangshan Iron and Steel Group,Beijing Metro and other major projects.This paper is based on the research of technology market at home and abroad,product technology analysis,laboratory technology research and pilot test,industrialized production process and preparation technology,industrialized trial production,comprehensive evaluation of product performance,and technical research.It has been proved that the research is advanced and feasible by a number of Engineering applications.The research products conform to the development direction of building waterproof coatings,and are the key products encouraged by the state.They play an active role in the promotion and popularization of high performance polymer modified asphalt waterproof coatings in China.
