This paper takes SSBR/BR compounds filled with Silica/CNT as the research object, and uses multiple test characterization methods, such as the rubber processing analyzer(RPA),capillary rheometer, stereomicroscope, and Haake torque rheometer,to explore the effect of storage time, storage temperature, and remilling times on the extrusion rheological properties of the compounds during processing compared to CNT-filled SSBR/BR(70/30)compound.The experimental results showed that, the Mooney viscosity, bound rubber content, mechanical relaxation time and shear viscosity in the experimental range of the Silica/CNT-filled SSBR/BR compound increase with the extension of the storage time, and the fluidity of the rubber is redegraded. The “Payne effect” showed the characteristics of decreasing first and then increasing, and it reached the minimum after 24 hours of storage. When the storage time is less than 24 hours, the degree of deformation of the extrudate decrease, and the degree of distortion increased after 24 hours. It shows that the storage time is prolonged and the rheological performance deteriorates.Silica/CNT-filled SSBR/BR compound have better rheological properties at a storage temperature of 20°C,and the extrudate has a good appearance. With the increase of storage temperature, the Mooney viscosity, binder content, mechanical relaxation time and shear viscosity in the experimental range of Silica/CNT-filled SSBR/BR compound all increase, and the fluidity of the compound deteriorated;their storage modulus, loss factor, and “Payne effect” all decrease. With the increase of the number of remilling times, the Mooney viscosity, binder content, and mechanical relaxation time of the Silica/CNT-filled SSBR/BR compound were all decreased, and the change was even more significant before the number of remilling times less than 10.In addition, the shear viscosity and the viscosity-dependence degree in the experimental range were all decreased, the Payne effect was also weakened, the distortion of the extrudate was reduced, and the appearance of the extrudate was better. When the number of remilling time is more than 10,the rheological properties don't change much.Comprehensive processing conditions such as storage time, storage temperature, and the number of remilling time, combined with a variety of characterization test results show that: based on rheological properties, the optimal storage time for Silica/CNT-filled SSBR/BR compound is 24 hours, and the best storage temperature is 20 °C,the best remilling times is 10.
