The traditional rubber mixing process requires that the natural rubber blocks be preheated and then cut into several large blocks,and then undergo multi-stage and multi-batch repeated mixing.During this period,the energy consumption is large,the production efficiency is low,and the uniformity of the quality of the rubber is not guaranteed.The one stage rubber mixing technology at low temperature overcomes the deficiencies in the traditional rubber mixing process.The precondition of one stage rubber mixing technology is that the rubber that enters the internal mixer must be small or granular,due to the development of domestic rubber crushing equipment is not perfect,the general production capacity and efficiency are low,and it cannot meet the requirement of the one stage rubber mixing technology at low temperature.At the same time,the imported foreign rubber crushing machine is expensive and the tool replacement cost is high.This topic is originated from a scientific and technological research project of a large rubber and plastic machinery company in China,research and design the crushing machine for crushing natural rubber or synthetic rubber to solve the existing problems in the traditional mixing and provide raw materials for one stage rubber mixing technology at low temperature.In this paper,according to the characteristics of the rubber material and the crushing theory,different schemes to crush rubber are designed.After comparing the different schemes,the best design scheme is determined.The SolidWorks 3D design software is used for the various components and machines of the rubber crushing machine.A three-dimensional solid model was established and the optimal structural dimensions of the key components were determined using the finite element method.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Based on the characteristics of rubber materials and the fragmentation theory,a reasonable crushing solution was explored.(2)Detailed parameters design and structural design of the rubber crushing machine,including the determination of the rotor speed,the selection of the motor,the determination of the structural form,and the selection of materials for blade,etc.(3)Using SolidWorks 3D modeling software to carry out solid modeling ofvarious parts of the rubber crushing machine,and to perform assembly simulation on the whole machine,to avoid the interference phenomenon,and to verify the rationality of the design.(4)Using ANSYS Workbench software to study the blade angle of the key components of rubber crushing machine,to find the best blade angle for easy rubber crushing and to analyze the strength and stiffness of the blade after design.The stress and deformation of the blade under a given load were verified to verify the rationality of the design.(5)Using ANSYS Workbench software to perform modal analysis on the rotor and frame of the rubber crushing machine,obtain the first six natural frequencies and corresponding modes of the rotor and the frame,respectively,to avoid the occurrence of resonance during operation.The rubber crushing machine designed in this paper is an exploration in the field of material rubber crushing,the research and design of rubber crushing machine to meet the rubber raw material crushing needs of enterprises,not only provide technical support for them in the production and manufacture of rubber crushing machine,but also provide a reference for the related research and design of rubber crushing equipment.
