CBM,the main component of which is CH4,is a clean,high-quality,high-efficiency energy source that is stored on the surface or cracks of coal seams.In recent years,with China's constant attention to cleaner production audits,coal,petroleum,cement,and other related industries have gradually carried out clean production audits,and formulated clean production review systems and specifications,which have achieved good results.Although the CBM mining industry does not belong to the “two high and one heavy” industries(high material consumption,high energy consumption,and heavy pollution),there are also phenomena of environmental pollution and ecological damage in the production process.The CBM extraction industry's implementation of clean production audits will not only reduce the consumption of resources,reduce the production of waste,but also increase the efficiency of CBM extraction companies and promote the harmonious coexistence of the economy and the environment.Therefore,this paper proposes to introduce cleaner production audit into the coalbed methane extraction industry.The research contents and main conclusions are as follows:(1)Analyze the connotation of cleaner production audits,discuss the status quo of cleaner production audits for CBM and related industries at home and abroad,and propose the necessity for the implementation of cleaner production audits in the CBM extraction industry.Combining the characteristics of the CBM industry and the current status of mining technologies,the CBM industry will analyze the production sites,treatment,and emissions of pollutants in various production processes such as drilling technology,cementing technology,fracturing technology,and drainage technology.Analyze the production and discharge of pollutants such as water,air,solid waste,and noise,and explore the potential of the CBM extraction industry to implement cleaner production audits.(2)Taking a concrete CBM mining enterprise project as a case to carry out a clean production auditing practice study,implementing planning and organization,pre-auditing,auditing,plan generation and screening,feasibility analysis,implementation of the plan,and finally achieving continuous cleaner production purpose.(3)In the process of the review of cleaner production production,a total of 28 clean production plans were produced,of which: 17 non-fee/low-cost plans,9 medium fee plans,and 2 high-cost plans.After implementation of all the plans,in respect of energy saving,the annual fuel consumption will be reduced by approximately 0.2 tons,the annual electricity consumption will be approximately 105kW·h,and the annual water saving will be approximately 3×103m3.In terms of emission reduction,the annual discharge of waste water can be reduced.The volume is approximately 6.3×103m3,and the annual solid waste emission is reduced by 2 tons;the direct economic benefit is saved by 498,800 yuan per year.The results show that the implementation of cleaner production audits in the coalbed methane extraction industry not only enables enterprises to reduce resource consumption,reduce the production of pollutants,but also improve the environment and bring huge benefits to enterprises.
