Bridge health monitoring and assessment system has been widely used and recognized in recent years with its advantages of long-term, real-time, and high-efficiency. However, how to complete the technical condition assessment of the monitored bridge basing on these huge monitoring data becomes the most important problem to be solved.Among existing technical condition assessment methods, hierarchical analysis model of monitored bridge is always established basing on the principle of hierarchical analysis, in which the data is analyzed step by step according to the assessment results of the underlying index analysis, and then summarized to the top with the assessment completed. But with the problem of weight allocation in this method, the change of the overall assessment turns less when a certain weight index fails, which doesn’t conform to the practical engineering.Therefore, technical condition assessment method for cable-stayed bridge is proposed in this paper on the basis of object-oriented idea and influence matrix method of cable force optimization of cable-stayed bridge, whose suitability and effectiveness has been proved by applying it in Qing caobei Yangtze River Bridge. The main work is conducted as the follows.①The changing rules of the main cable force, suspender tension, main cable displacement, main girder strain and tower strain with the time are obtained by analyzing the measured sample data of Qing caobei River Bridge. And the response of the monitoring variables under the vehicle load is analyzed by divesting the temperature effect in monitoring data.②the object-oriented technology condition assessment method of suspension Bridges is put forward based on the research analysis of existing technical condition assesment methods, the object system of Qing caobei Yangtze river bridge is established. The influence equation of health monitoring system has been deduced on the influence matrix method of cable force optimization of Cable-stayed bridge, which proved the internal relation between the monitoring variables.③A new bridge technique condition assessment method is established in which m-dimesions space super ellipsoid surface is adopted as early warning threshold of bridge health monitoring system.④ Basing on the health monitoring data of Qingcaobei Yangtze river bridge, technique condition assessment are made using hierarchical analysis and method in this paper respectively and the advantages of the method proposed in this paper are analyzed.
