| With the promotion and application of the urban railway traffic system in all major cities of China, the structure of railway viaduct, as one of the main structural styles, also shows diversified development. Due to a series of advantages, such as safety, economy, beauty and noise reduction, U-beam is replacing the original structural style step by step and becoming a major structural style in railway traffic especially in urban railway traffic viaduct system. Under loading conditions, the essential problems of U-beam stress performance are the strength, rigidity, cracking resistance and stability. In recently, it isn’t popularized in railway traffic project. The mechanical behavior of U-beam still needs further research.In view of the above questions, this paper adopts large finite element analysis software ABAQUS to build three-dimensional whole model of U-beam about Zhengzhou Line eastward elevated section. The numerical simulation of mechanical behavior gives out the distribution of stress and displacement in cross section. By making 1:1 static test for beam and testing the structure stress performance in each stage to verify the results of numerical simulation. Through the contrastive analysis between the test data and the calculated results by using finite element, it turns out that:(1) Because of U-beam complex forces and obvious spatial effect, it should adopt finite element software to analyze the whole space model.(2) The structure behaves linear elastically under horizontal effect of design load with good strength and stiffness.(3) Under loading mode of part of carriageway slab, the structure doesn’t appear vertical and horizontal crack. The crack resistance of part of bottom slab is decent.(4) Under 1.2 times design load, the structure still has excellent strength and rigidity. U-beam doesn’t appear visible crack, and the crack resistance of structure suffices the requirements. |
