The prefabricated damped partition board frame structure is a kind of structure that infilled with partition board and damping layer as palisade component. The damping principle of this kind of structure is clear,in the earthquake,damping layer consume a lot of energy with shear deformation,this structure has good seismic performance.the damped partition board is a lightweight, high strength, fire prevention, sound insulation, heat preservation and heat insulation just as like ordinary partition board.The main content of this paper is as follows:(1) Two kinds of damped partition board are designed.the principle of shock absorption of horizontal damped partition board and vertical damped partition board are the same.Vertical damped partition board is more convenient during construct.The design of the structure is the main content of this part.(2) Four prefabricated Frame Structure specimens are made,one of the four prefabricated frame structure is filled with ordinary partition board,one of them are filled with damped partition board as infill wall.The method of construction of damped partition board is introduced in detail.The scheme of measurement and loading is determined with study.(3) Cyclic loading tests for two prefabricated damped partition board frame,one conventional partition board frame and one bare frame,were carried out. The seismic behaviors of prefabricated damped partition board frame structure were studied comparatively.The experimental results indicate that, damped partition board plays a good role in energy dissipating. The hysteretic loops of frame structure with damped infill wall is plumper, the energy dissipation capacity is excellent. Damped partition board is capable of enhancing the lateral force resistance capacity and the lateral stiffness of frame structure. But its stiffness effect and confined effect is much weaker than that of the conventional partition board which prevent the frame columns from shear damage effectively. The lateral stiffness and horizontal bearing capacity of the prefabricated damped partition board frame is between conventional partition board and bare fame, its strength degradation rate and its stiffness degradation rate are much slower than that of conventional partition board frame.
