With the development of global automobile industry, the yield, sale quantity and inventory quantity of the global car also grow with each passing day, the problems of energy and environmental are becoming more and more serious, facing the dual challenges of energy and environment, and the new energy automobile has become the key research objects of each big car companies and research institutions of the world. At present, Hybrid Electric Vehicle has become the new trend of development of world automobile, withing the advantages of low energy consumption, low emission, long endurance mileage and so on, which can effectively balance the two factors of energy saving and environmental protection.This paper research on Single shaft parallel hybrid electric vehicle, after analyzing the structure and working principle of The clutch of separation hydraulic system of Hybrid Electric Vehicle, a mathematical model established. The sliding mode controller of hydraulic system was designed after theoretical analyzing, then made Lyapunov stability analyzing, so as to realize the fast, stable and precise control of clutchpressure.Finally, The hydraulic model and sliding mode controller were founded based on MATLAB/Simulink, and making simulation analysis in typical mode switching process of Hybrid Electric Vehicle, at the same time, comparative with PID control and fuzzy control and the simulation results were compared to verify the separation of clutch pressure control based on sliding mode controlperformance. The simulation results show that the sliding mode controller has the advantages of fast convergence, strong ability to adapt and high precision characteristics in hydraulic system control of the separation of the clutch, can effectively improve the robustness of the system, to achieve the control of clutch hydraulic system with good separation effect.
