Study On The Preparation Of Mortars With Emulsified Asphalt And Cement With High Performance

At present, the long-span steel bridge deck pavement in China generally use asphalt concrete material, because of the defects of asphalt material itself, resulting in the use effect of steel bridge deck pavement layer is not efficient, the damage generally occur in the design period, therefore, there is an urgent need to develop a new kind of steel bridge deck pavement material with excellent performance. CA mortar as the elastic buffer layer was successfully used in the high speed railway construction, excellent performance of CA mortar was also confirmed. To expand the application of CA mortar, the idea of CA mortar would be used in steel bridge deck pavement was put forward, and the different pavement structure was designed, the design of different pavement layer was different, in order to meet the requirements of the use of the steel bridge deck.Carries on the preliminary exploration to the asphalt emulsifying technology, the influence factors included emulsifying temperature, emulsifying time, emulsifying machine speed and so on, the emulsifying technology of the best emulsifying effect was obtained.Through the combination of different emulsifier, examined the effect of different emulsifiers on emulsifying effect. And through the emulsified asphalt particle size, storage stability, penetration, softening point, ductility test to evaluate the emulsifying effect. The experimental conclusion:adding NP-20 to the 1# emulsified asphalt sample, the emulsifying effect had been improved, but its proportion should not be too high, otherwise, it would have a negative influence; with the increase of OP-10 content, the storage stability of emulsified asphalt was also increased; the three indicators of emulsified asphalt compared to the matrix asphalt had improved significantly, expanded the scope of its application.The application of emulsified asphalt in the process of preparation of CA mortar, preparation technology and curing method of CA mortar were screened; for the steel bridge deck pavement construction, to improve the working performance of CA mortar by adding other raw materials and additives, in order to meet the requirements of the steel bridge deck pavement construction; the application performance of CA mortar was tested, getting the CA mortar proportioning which had good mechanical properties, elastic properties and freeze-thaw resistance. Therefore, the CA mortar obtained in experiment was a steel bridge deck pavement material with potential applications.
