With the continuous improvement of living standard and the increasingly aging of the population, people's demand for monitors is increasing. Many elderly people's demand for the detection of body is higher and higher. Senile dementia patients'lost is also a hot social issue. But most of the monitors on the market have many shortcomings, for instance, they are expensive and complicated to operate, have large size and a single function. To solve these problems, this thesis proposes to develop a user-friendly portable monitor in order to meet the needs of the elderly and senile dementia patients and their families.This thesis proposes a design scheme of intelligent positioning monitor system hardware structure and software system based on ARM. The intelligent positioning monitor chooses S3C2440A kernel-based microprocessor, enlarges the pulse sensor, wireless communication module, GPS signal receiver, voice and vibration alarm module to collect human physiological data, all of which consist hardware development platform of the whole system. Application software is functionally divided into five modules:GPS positioning, pulse parameter acquisition, wireless communications, voice alarm and power management. In addition, this thesis discusses in detail the pulse rate algorithm. In this algorithm, the Cathay window filtering is introduced. The raw data of the sensor reading is first filtered and calculates the measurement results based on oscillometric method and photochemical method when the filtering process is over. This avoids the interference of other factors during the sampling process, thus improving the accuracy of the calculations. This thesis focuses on the pulse signal acquisition and analysis, positioning and wireless transmission as an auxiliary function, so that the monitor has been greatly improved in functionality.This thesis discusses in detail the design and implementation of ARM-based intelligent positioning monitor hardware platforms and software applications of each module. After testing, the monitor has the advantages of simple operation, accurate positioning, high flexibility, stable and reliable system etc. And the thesis achieves the desired goal and lays a good foundation for further development and application of the practical product.
