With the rapid development of China's economy and society, people's living standards become better, electricity of living and enterprises is rapidly growing, and meter reading task also increased sharply.Therefore,the data acquisition system of intelligent appeared.The meter data collector of intelligent electric is in the core position in the wholesystem of the data acquisition system of intelligence,and it is a bridge between uplink and downlink communication.We studied the mainstream data collector in the market,and on the basis of the basic functions of data collector and the application of the technology, we used ARM chip S5PV210 as the core processor,and combined with the third generation mobile communication technology of the 3G network,add the security camera function,realizes down link RS-485 communication,and uplink Ethernet,GPRS/3G communication of the data collector.This paper mainly descripted hardware and software design of the data collector of smart electric meter and the realization of the intelligence work. First of all,we conducted a systematic understanding of the data acquisition system of intelligent,had a clear understanding of the host computer,concentrator,and the smart meter;then,we analyzed and compared the devices on the market,and in-depth studied of the technology;finally,we put forward a design scheme of data collector,and according to the scheme of hardware and software finished the work of the realization and refinement.Data collector adopts SAMSUNG S5PV210 processor,and has the advantages of high performance and rich interface;using the embedded Linux operating system can be cut,supporting 3G communication interface and drive;combined with the smart meter communication interface,RS-485 bus is adopted as the way of the downlink communication,; use Ethernet and GPRS/3G as the way of downlink communication,and its advantage is wide application, stable and fast transmission speed;the proximity switch is adopted to trigger the camera,in order to prevent to be theft.Finally, we summarized the design and development process, and we have a design and prospect for the expanded and improved work of the system.
