With the modern high-rise building showing a light weight, large flexibility, low damping characteristics, its sensitivity to wind also increased along with the amplification of this feature, the high-rise building(especially to the coastal high-rise building) is becoming more and more important and indispensable. Field measurement is one of the most direct and effective method to get the wind load on structures. Because of the frequent typhoon of every year, the rapid development of high-rise buildings and the high-rise buildings are sensitivity to wind. The study of wind structure interaction and wind-induced response of tall buildings has become one of the most popular research topic. Therefore, it is necessary to systematically research the wind effects of high-rise buildings in coastal areas during typhoon.Several basic problems on field measurement are discussed based on the measured data of Typhoon "Usagi", the main research contents are as follows:Fristly,Several methods of judging the ordinate value from test wind data are introduced, the select Grubbs had carried on the analysis to the three groups of abnormal data, comparing the data before and after data processing in turbulence, gust factor and power spectrum density function. The results revealed that: the value of the turbulent and gust factor in abnormal data time become low after data processing, but the gap is not great; the power spectral density function is close to both before and after processing at low frequency, in high frequency, Spectrum value of not processed is significantly greater than the processed.Secondly, This paper discussed the pressure characteristics on the surface of the wall, including the probability distribution characteristics of fluctuating wind pressure, power spectrum and correlation of the fluctuating wind pressure. The analysis results show that: there is a big influence on the characteristics of wind pressure whether the test point located in separated regions,where the test located and the distance of the test points.Finally,based on the field measurement for wind filed and wind pressure. the correlation of wind characteristic and wind pressure characteristic was investigated in selected different time intervals and wind direction.The results indicated that 3s mean wind speed was reasonable, When the flow direction is perpendicular to the structure of the windward side, the correlation between the measured wind field and the wind pressure is relatively large.
