Aesthetic And Innovative Integration Of The Jing-chu Culture Symbol And Landscape Arch

Jing-Chu Culture is a kind of regional culture mainly in hubei region with strong local characteristics which gradually formed in the process of long-term historical evolution since the beginning of the Chu history.Jing-Chu is named from the state of Chu and Truman,which has a quiet long history and extensive and profound culture.But,in the process of modernization and social development,due to the erosion and influence of diverse culture and people’s lacking of protection consciousness of its regional culture,the inheritance and development of Jing-chu culture will be faced with crisis.The overall features of Jing-chu area lack of regional a clear regional culture characteristics.Traditional Jing-chu culture is being eroded. And its the cultural charm are now fading and dying away.The landscape regional arches,my research object of design in my project refers to a kind of arches used to mark the regional cultural differences,and have landscape ornamental value at the same time, as a kind of unique culture landscape.Therefore, the design of landscape regional arches basing on the heritage of tradition Jing-chu culture bears semantic meanings of its regional cultural symbols and has profound cultural implications.In the background of the lack of regional culture in Jing-chu areas,the author hope to extract the corresponding symbols of Jing-chu culture,through the study of external aesthetic forms and internal cultural implications of the historical relics in the period of the spring and autumn and the warring states during which Jing-chu culture is flourish,use them as design element s and the basis taking advantages of the mould-breaking aesthetic innovation techniques in the design process of the landscape regional arches.The author aims to explore a set of scientific and feasible theory about the design of landscape regional arches with regional culture characteristics and attach with the practical design results,in order to provide guidance and enlightenment for designs of higher levels of landscape or buildings with the cultural Jing-chu characteristics and slightly promote the inheritance and development of traditional Jing-chu culture, and continue the urban context.Innovation points of this research include two aspects. Firstly, considering arches as a regional landscape,focusing on the aesthetic function and cultural transmission of the arches, using a new design concepts and design methods, breaking through the traditional arch shape and conventional design thinking, focusing on aesthetic innovation forms,but also its Cultural inheritance.Secondly,selecting arches,a kind of traditional architecture,as the design object.In modern society,the function of the arches tend to be decorate beautification.Although it is a kind of accessory building, but it is also a form of landscape.In this research,the landscape regional arch is considered as a kind of cultural landscape,as the medium and carriers of Jing-chu culture.
