Product innovative design is an innovative activity with plans and purposes conducted by the cognition of people towards the things. Under the ealier stage of research and development, the product exists for a macroscopical functional concepts. How to make a design perfectly with a very good user experience? We should consider the overall appearance molding to the smallest part of the product, and even if the tiny part of the functional experience, to reach a perfect combination of microcosmic interaction and macroscopic functions. This article elaborates the theory of microinteraction application taking the interface design of user experience as the case. For the design dimensions of microinteraction for the product innovative design, many designers expressed their different explanations. On the basis of labor foundation of domestic and overseas designers, this article concludes the design dimensions of microinteraction for the product innovative design. It combines the current design situation and microinteraction application situation of popular products to guide the implementation of relevant activities of product innovative design.The main contents of this article; Chapter 1; Research background Overview; it elabortes the definition of microinteraction and includes the current development situation of domestic and overseas product design and the practical significance of microinteraction applications to the guidance of the product design. Chapter 2; summarize the structure and emerging features of microinteraction for the product; analyse presented forms of microinteraction in the product design. Chapter 3 to Chapter 5; it concludes design dimenstions of microinteraction for the product design, which respectively are usage rules, starting modes and feedback systems.The foothold of these dimensions are based on cognitive psychology and emotional design methods. Chapter 6; it describes how the applications of microinteraction be realized in the product design. It clearly introduces an example of microinteraction applications in the actual product. Chapter 7; it concludes the main research achievements and outlook of research work.After many years of development and improvement, the openness forms and self-satisfaction design consciousness of product design have reached to their limitation. The research of microinteracction applications in the fields of product design is helpful for designers to explore subtle demand points. With the detailed microinteraction, design the product comforming to the user behaviors and behavioral habits can not only expand the product functions but also satisfy the user experience, for which the microinteraction philosophy will play a more significant role in product innovative design.
