Research And Design Of Rocker Panel Wave Generator System

Wave simulation is very important for many research fields, such as ships, seaplanes, offshore platforms, port facilities. At present, the simulation of wave relies mainly on the establishment of physical wave pool to simulate the actual wave by the wave machine. Wave generator, as an important test technology, its theory has a history of hundreds of years.The completion of this paper is based on the following items: The design and research of China Special Vehicle Research Institute "Aircraft landing pool" wave-making system. In this paper, in order to meet the requirements of the wave generator of rocker panel type, the author has carried on the detailed analysis and research for the mechanical systems, motion control systems and software systems of the wave generator system.Based on the small amplitude wave theory and the method of solving partial differential on mathematical physics equations and special functions, the velocity potential function be solved out at given boundary conditions. Then the relationship between the moving amplitude of rocker panel and wave amplitude can be derived, namely the hydrodynamic transfer function of wave generator system. According to this hydrodynamic transfer function, we can get the main scales of rocker panel. For the reasonable choice of electric cylinder and motor, in this paper, the requisite force and power of wave generator system been analyzed and calculated in the process of making waves.The motion control system of this wave generator are using the AC servo control system. AC servo control system is mainly composed by AC servo motors, Drives, Multi-axis Motion Manager and PC. In terms of the wave software, the software system of this wave generator is mainly including the wave making systems and data analysis systems. This wave generator can achieve the two-dimensional regular wave and irregular wave, data acquisition, wave height displaying. At the same time, the data analysis system can use the spectrum estimation and spectrum characteristic values to compare the realized spectrum and target spectrum.
